POVERTY
Native Americans have the highest poverty rate among all the racial groups in America.
RESERVATIONS
40% of reservation housing is considered substandard, compared to only 6% throughout the rest of the United States of America.
MMIW
(missing and murdered Indigenous women)
Indigenous women are seven times more likely to be a victim of homicide than other women.
ALCOHOLISM
All the factors that contribute to the risk of alcoholism for Native Americans are part of the United States' long history of oppression against Native people.
LOSS OF CULTURE
Indigenous people in the U.S. have lost nearly 99% of the land they historically inhabited.
